Willow Bubbles Drop Earrings

Willow Bubbles Drop Earrings

Pottery:
Connecting you to the land and history of Spode, the Potteries and Stoke on Trent, the pottery shard these earrings are made from was one of the vessels damaged by a drunk driver that smashed through the Spode shop window. These blue and white pottery earrings come from the popular Spode 'Willow' pattern! Spode's Willow pattern is probably one of the most successful patterns ever made. Although in the late 18th/early 19th century any blue printed design imitating Chinese porcelain was often described as Willow, the main features of the true Willow pattern are the bridge with three people crossing it, the willow tree, the boat, the main teahouse, the two birds and the fence in the foreground of the garden. The shard shows the bubble-like branches from one of the trees bordering the teahouse in the central image pattern. They measure 14mm across.
Stone:
Each earring has a faceted aqua chalcedony tear drop stone.
Earring Wire:
Sterling Silver earring posts ensure you won't have to worry about any metal allergies or green earlobes! In addition, the earrings come with comfortable, high quality plastic backings. Unlike metal fasteners, they stay put, and don't make a dent in the back of your ear. They ensure you can wear the backings anywhere along the earring post so the earring stays in place.
