Starry-Eyed Flower Stud Earrings

Pottery:
Connecting you to the land and history from where it came, the pottery shard these earrings were made from came from a broken plate in Lichfield that was originally found in a market in Wolverhampton. The earrings both depict a flower with a star in the centre, which mirrors other stars found elsewhere on the shard. The plate was actually made in Stoke on Trent by Burleigh and is a reproduction of a historic plate for the Nantucket Historic Association, imported under the name Mottadeh. What a journey! They measure 8 mm across.
Backing:
Sterling Silver earring posts ensure you won't have to worry about any metal allergies or green earlobes! In addition, the earrings come with comfortable, high quality plastic backings. Unlike metal fasteners, they stay put, and don't make a dent in the back of your ear. They ensure you can wear the backings anywhere along the earring post so the earring stays in place.
