SOLD! Ink Black Onyx and Pottery Sterling Silver Necklace

SOLD!

Unearthing the History:

Pottery: Connecting you to the land and history from where it came, the pottery shard featured in this necklace was unearthed along the canal in Stone, Staffordshire. It displays a pattern of what was initially thought to be twigs, but has now been confirmed as coral. The pattern is quite likely Torquay. I discovered this pattern during a recent visit to Burleigh at Middleport Pottery in one of their display cases. It is now discontinued but was a popular pattern shipped to the States, according to Burleigh.
Stone: A jet-black faceted Black Onyx set in sterling silver and a small faceted black onyx bead to finish off the extender - perfect to dangle down your back.
Chain: Made entirely of Sterling Silver, the jump rings on this necklace have been soldered together to provide you with a strong, quality necklace that isn't going to break from a slight tug.
Length: A 3 inch extender allows you to wear your necklace with a variety of different necklines. Including the extender, the necklace measures 19 1/2 inches long and can sit just below your collarbone, or worn as a choker.
