SOLD! Blue Brown and Green Handpainted Imari Shard Necklace

Connecting you to the land and history from where it came, the pottery shard in this necklace features a flower and was discovered at the edge of Westport Lake. The pattern has yet to be unearthed but depicts an Imari-style brown transfer design, with hand painted blue and green tones. It was likely made at the turn of the century, when Art Nouveau was giving way to Art Deco.
The deep cobalt blue painted on the pottery shard has been continued with faceted lapis - one more to finish off the extender - perfect to dangle down your back.
This sterling silver necklace was made to last. The wire wrapping and soldered rings in this necklace provide you with a strong, quality necklace that isn't going to break from a slight tug.
The necklace measures just under 23 inches. The extender allows you to wear your necklace with a variety of different necklines.
