Blue Denmark Stud Earrings

Pottery:
Connecting you to the land and history from where it came, the pottery shard these earrings are made from was found on the beach in Beaumaris. These blue and white pottery earrings come from the 'Blue Denmark' pattern, however the maker of this shard could be one of many. Furnivals were the most prominent of several Staffordshire potters to produce versions of the pattern based on the Royal Copenhagen original. Company records suggest that the pattern was produced from the 1850s and with virtually no modification to the pattern or shape was produced until the closure of the business in 1968. They measure 6mm across.
Backing:
Sterling Silver earring posts ensure you won't have to worry about any metal allergies or green earlobes! In addition, the earrings come with comfortable, high quality plastic backings. Unlike metal fasteners, they stay put, and don't make a dent in the back of your ear. They ensure you can wear the backings anywhere along the earring post so the earring stays in place.
