Beachy Seaweed Tourmaline Necklace

Beachy Seaweed Tourmaline Necklace

Unearthing the History:

Pottery:
Connecting you to the land and history from where it came, the pottery shard featured in this necklace was found wrapped up in some seaweed at low tide on the beach in Beaumaris. The shard has a lovely patina from the waves and shows an image of a flower and fern, and likely comes from the Asiatic Pheasant pattern.
Stone:
A cluster of green tourmaline and a faceted yellow jade stone represent the seaweed wrapped around the shard, making this necklace a lovely reminder of being at the beach. Another faceted yellow jade stone finishes off the extender - perfect to dangle down your back.
Chain:
This sterling silver necklace was made to last. The soldered jump rings in this necklace provide you with a strong, quality necklace that isn't going to break from a slight tug.
Length:
The loose chain on this necklace means you can fasten the clasp anywhere along the necklace, allowing you to wear your necklace with a variety of different necklines. The necklace measures nearly 23 inches long.
